CHAP STYLES
Confused with which style you want?

Cutting Chaps
The two most popular style for cutters are Batwing and Shotgun.

Batwing Style
Full length chap with a flair to the bottom outside of the leg. Closure is with either buckles or Velcro.  These chaps cover the boot and help hide any extra
cuing that the rider might make during a run.    Flowing fringe helps accentuate the movement of the horse.

Shotgun Style
Full length chap that fit close to the leg with a full length zipper closure. Long heel plate covers boot, heel and spur. Fringe can be any length, longer will
give more animation with each movement.

Equitation (Pleasure) Chaps
Clean lines emphasize these classy chaps. Shotgun style with a taller yoke area. Back closure of the yoke is simple with one or two conchos. Full length
zipper and heal plate that covers the boot and spur. Lots of choices in leathers and colors.

Chinks
This short chap gives good air circulation while keeping the western look. Chinks typically fall just below the knee. They give protection to the thigh area
when riding the rough country. Great when a lot of mounting, dismounting, walking or hot weather is involved. Chinks can be dressed up with fancy fringe,
spots and conchos or dressed down with simple turned edges and no fringe.

Rodeo
Fancy batwing style with lots of pizazz and style. These are not for the faint of heart. Bold, showy and eye catching describe these beauties best!

Motorcycle Chaps
Similar to shotgun style, but with heavier buckles, as you don’t want these to break away if there is a problem.  Snaps at the bottom keeps the roadway off
your boots.
